Michael Norris is senior analyst of Simba Information’s Trade Books Group and editor of Book Publishing Report.com. He is also the creator and lead author of Simba Information’s Children’s Publishing Market Forecast and Trade E-Book Publishing Report series, the latter of which has been providing an annual review and analysis of e-book trends since 2009, the same year the prophetic Trends in Trade Book Retailing series was launched. Mr. Norris advises clients and presents data on publishing and reading trends on a regular basis, and he is frequently quoted by globally recognized media sources including Associated Press, The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, National Public Radio and others.
Valerie Chernetskyy is the Publishing Manager for Simba Information, where she oversees the production of all newsletters and reports published by Simba. Additionally, she manages online publishing for Simba's four newsletter websites. In 2007, Valerie joined the company as Analyst/Assistant Editor of Simba’s Yellow Pages Group. Prior to that role, she was an editorial assistant at Stamford’s daily newspaper, The Advocate, where she covered local news and events. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentrationin journalism and a Master’s degree in Communications from Fairfield University.
Farah Pierre is the production assistant for Simba Information, helping to layout and edit all newsletters and reports published by Simba. Farah joined the company in 2009 while she was working as a production assistant for a magazine company in Stamford. Prior to both positions, Farah worked as a temp for many prestigious companies all located in Stamford.
